Sunday, 21 June, ROSES, GIRONA (Spain): Jordi Thomas made it a double celebration for Spain taking overall victory in Runabout GP2.

Heat 1 winner Thomas trailed Antonio D’Arma throughout the race to take the chequered flag in second place, but D’Arma’s post-race disqualification for cutting the course simply further cemented the Spaniard’s event win.

Alessio Schintu and Manuel Reggiani were elevated to second and third spots when both Rammah and Greco were given a one lap penalty for missing a buoy, Schintu takings second overall and Greco third.

Overall victory in Runabout GP3 went to Claude Vangasbeck.
