Friday, 9 October: The latest UIM-ABP World Rankings include 488 riders from 28 countries with the final standings to be issued following the final round of the 2015 UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship taking place in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates on 19-20 December.
Runabout’s newly crowned European Champion Jeremy Perez looks to be on course to regain his number slot and tops the standings with a 591 points advantage from Didier Chabert then Christophe Agostinho and Andrzej Wisniewski.
Qatar’s Thamer Al Darwish, who leads the World Championship standings, is the highest ranked Middle East rider, Francois Medori making it four French riders in the top six.
Mickael Poret and Nacho Armillas continue their battle in Ski, the French Spanish rivals separated by just one point in the European Standings, Poret winning that tussle and is seven points behind Armillas in third in the World Championship, but Poret is hanging on to the number one slot in the World Rankings by 29 points. Jeremy Poret is in third ahead of Alberto Monti, Alex Barret and World Championship leader Kevin Reiterer.
In the Ladies division Jennifer Menard has a comfortable 668 points cushion over Estelle Poret and World Championship leader, Emma-Nellie Ortendahl.
The 2015 European Champion Roberto Mariani is in top spot in Freestyle, with Rok and Nac Florjancic in second and third.
