Saturday, 12 September: Too often in the shadows of the brothers Florjancic, Roberto Mariani is revelling in the spotlight as the newly crowned European Champion.

The multiple Italian champion and veteran aerial trickster from Rome and known for his signature trick ‘superman’ sealed the title in Valras.

The very likeable Freestyler form Rome took third in Croatia behind his nemesis’ Rok and Nac [Florjancic], in the following two events saw of the challenges of countryman Alberto Camerlengo and finally in Valras a cameo appearance on the international stage by Romain Stampers.
