Tuesday, 26 May: The United Arab Emirate of Sharjah will become the newest venue to host a round of the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship, H2O Racing confirming that it will stage this year’s season finale.

The first Aquabike Grand Prix of Sharjah will take place on the 19-20 December on Khaled Lagoon, following the final Grand Prix of the season of the UIM F1H2O World Championship.

This year’s Championship is once again attracting maximum competitor numbers, and with two Grand Prix run and at the season mid-point, it is a trio of Middle East Riders who lock-out the top three spots in Runabout, with the UAE’s Khalifa Belselah topping the Championship standings following his Grand Prix win at last weekend’s Grand Prix of Italy in Castro.
