UIM-ABP AQUABIKE WORLD RANKINGS LATEST

Tuesday, 1 September: The latest UIM-ABP World Rankings sees a trio of French riders locking out the top spots in Runabout and Ski, with Slovenian brothers Nac and Rok Florjancic one and two in Freestyle and Italy’s Roberto Mariani in third.

Runabout star Jeremy Perez is on target to regain his 2013 number one ranking, and with a 677 point cushion over countryman Didier Chabert is looking likely to topple last year’s number one Teddy Pons currently down in eighth spot. Qatar’s Thamer Al Darwish is the highest ranked Middle East rider in third.

Mickael Poret and Nacho Armillas are locked in a close battle in Ski, the duo currently tied in the World Championship standings in second spot, Poret with the upper hand and a 111 point advantage in the rankings, Alex Barret in third.

In Ski Ladies, Jennifer Menard has work to do to retain her number one ranking and under pressure from Estelle Poret and the current World Championship leader Emma-Nellie Ortendahl.
