JORGENSEN ON COURSE TO DEFEND RUNABOUT GP2 TITLE
Saturday, 24 June, PENAFIEL (Portugal): Denmark’s Marcus Jorgensen remains on course to successfully defend his title and is yet to drop points following a comfortable victory in Moto1.
The Dane led from start to finish running out the 11 laps in 17:10.74s to take the win from Slovakia’s Mario Lamy by 8.37s, with Russia’s Dmitry Tsukov coming home in third.
In Runabout GP4 the title race tightened up with Oliver Gerencser taking the victory from Toni Vingut and Laurent Escrig, with points’ leader coming into the event Jordi Tomas finishing in fifth.
