MARTEN MANNI TAKES IMPRESSIVE WIN IN SKI GP2

Saturday, 3 June, PORTO CESAREO (Italy): Estonian rider Marten Manni seems unfazed by his step-up from GP3.3 into the senior classes, producing an impressive performance to take victory in Ski GP2.

The 15-year-old stole away the advantage of pole position from Daniel Svae Andersen immediately, following a poor start by the Norwegian, and led from start-to-finish to take his first victory on the senior tour by 2.94s.

Third place went to another UIM-ABP tour newcomer Benjamin Scharff, leading home his countrymen Simon Raoulx and Axel Courtois, with Croatia’s Slaven Ivancic in sixth.
