PORTUGUESE RIDERS TOP STANDINGS IN GP1 IN PORTIMAO
Sunday, 29 October, PORTIMAO (Portugal): Portuguese riders enjoyed a strong first day at their home Grand Prix in the UIM-ABP European Endurance Championship in Portimao.
The duo of Carlos Trutta and Filipe Filipe topped the standings in Runabout GP1 after round 1 with a 13:54s advantage over France’s Roland Couhet and Arnaud Bourreau, with Italian pairing Michele Cadie and Stefano Ciadi 20.03s off the lead. Couhet and Bourreau topped the GP2 classification, Thomas Favolini in GP3 finishing in second overall.
In Ski GP1 Vicente Cano and Sebastian Fragoso are 1:13.605s clear of Matteo Valente, who set the best lap, and Diogo Barbosa.
The titles will be decided today with final rounds currently underway.
