*Uzare stretches championship lead

Wednesday, 12 December, SHARJAH (UAE): Jasmiin Ypraus had clearly not read the script and stole the limelight from the title challengers in the first of today’s three motos to take her maiden win on the UIM-ABP tour.

The Estonian rider grabbed the lead from the start, first holding off defending champion Emma-Nellie Ortendahl and then the championship points’ leader Krista Uzare.

The trio held station for 5 laps when Ortendahl’s title challenge took a knock, coming of the Ski as she challenged for the lead in the alternate track and was passed by both Uzare and Jonna Borgstrom.
