Wednesday, 12 December, SHARJAH (UAE): Victory Team’s Kevin Reiterer looks to be on course to complete the Sharjah Grand Prix and world championship double after another master class in the second moto in Ski GP1.
For the second time today the Austrian rider was simply in a class of his own and destroyed a world class field from the moment the race was on building an unassailable lead and take the win by 30. 73s. “I’m feeling great and one step nearer to the title,” he said. “I settled down after a couple of laps and then it was all about taking care of the Ski and bring it home.”
Raphael Maurin had no answer to the pace of the leader and trailed home in second, with Quinten Bossche moving up from 13th to take third.
