Friday, 31 May, OLBIA. (Italy): After topping the timesheets in pre-qualifying earlier this afternoon Marcus Jorgensen put himself on pole in Runabout GP2 after dominating qualifying, sitting in top spot throughout with a best lap of 1:36.75s.
Ismael Rojas was 1.86s back in second and unable to improve on his 1:38.61 set early in the session with Mattia Fracasso the only rider in the top six to improve his time after the opening laps and exchanges, moving up a place into third with a best 1:39.26.
In GP4 just over a second split the top three in a tight session with Spain’s Juan Carlos Palau locking out top spot with a 1.50.03 to hold off Estonia’s Mattias Simann by 0.59s, the pole-sitter’s fellow countryman Alejandro Artinano third quickest with 1:51.16.
