Friday, 14 February (KUWAIT CITY): Jonna Borgstrom held off a hard charging Emma-Nellie Ortendahl to win the first of three motos at this weekend’s UIM-ABP Grand Prix of Kuwait.

Borgstrom made up two places off the beach start to grab the lead, holding off an initial challenge from Jasmiin Ypraus who lost ground on lap 8 after coming off her Ski and finishing in third, whilst Ski Ladies defending world champion Ortendal staged a remarkable fight back after a poor start and dropping from pole to sixth before scything her way through the field to take second.
