REITERER EXTENDS WINNING STREAK
Friday, 14 February (KUWAIT CITY): Kevin Reiterer recovered from a somewhat sluggish start from pole to win the first moto of the day at the UIM-ABP Aquabike Grand Prix of Kuwait
The defending Ski GP1 champion dropped a place at the start before resuming normal service, hitting the front on lap two and going win the 12 lap moto by 37.69s, extending his winning streak to nine.
Stian Schjetlein’s return to form continued, making up two places off the start to lead the opener momentarily before being overhauled but comfortably holding on to second spot from Barnabas Szabo, with Mickael Poret in fourth.
