RIDERS HEAD INTO CRUCIAL DAY IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Saturday, 04 July, Elk (Poland): Jeremy Perez, Kevin Reiterer and Estelle Poret will start from pole position in their respective categories in the first of 3 Motos on the the UIM-ABP Aquabike European Continental Championship in Elk.
French Jeremy Perez topped the times sheets in Runabout GP1 with a best lap of 1:29.48, outpacing the defending European Champion Marcus Jorgensen with Denmark’s Rasmus Koch Hansen in third position.
In Ski GP1 Austria’s Kevin Reiterer posted the best lap to snatch pole from spanish rider Nacho Armillas , third quickest the young suisse Alec Enderli, with Estonian Mattias Reinaas topping the time sheet in Ski GP2.
France’s Estelle Poret was back on track and the fastest in Ski Ladies from Estonia’s Jasmiin Ypraus and Sweden’s Jonna Borgostrrom.
Mattias Siimann posted the best time in Runabout GP2 as well as in Runabout GP4 while Bela Czeller is the pace setter in Runabout Veterans GP1.
Swedish Felix Helgeson, after the third time in Pole Position, took the first place in Moto 1 in Ski Division GP3.
Spanish rider Cristina Lazarraga qualified comfortably in pole in Runabout Women GP4 and she is also the winner of Moto 1 in Runabout GP4.
In Junior World Championship, Hungarian Csongor Jaszai took the first place in Ski Junior GP3.3 while defending Champion in Ski Junior GP3.2, Estonian Ander-Hubert Lauri, confirmed his leadership and he is now first after Moto 1.
The competition today starts at 10 am with Moto 1 followed by Moto 2 scheduled from 2 pm.
