Friday, May 17: After a summer holiday season break, this year’s UIM-ABP European Continental Aquabike Championship will conclude with the Grand Prix of Mira, Portugal on September 27th-19th
Aquabike Promotion and local organisers will host the third round of the championship in the coastal town of Mira, nestled in the Gândara region in close proximity to Aveiro, Coimbra and Figueira da Foz.

The UIM-ABP European Continental Aquabike Championship last visited Portugal in 2022 when the Municipality of Penafiel hosted a round of the four-race series on the Douro River.
Lino Araújo, Axel Courtois, Jasmiin Ypraus and Roberto Mariani came out on top in the main Runabout GP1, Ski GP1 and Ski Ladies GP1 and Freestyle categories. The minor classes were won by Gonçalo Rodrigues, Mattias Siimann, Ander Hubert Lauri, Nikola Dryjakova and Petr Dryjak.
