Saturday, July 27: World Champion Roberto Mariani got his Grand Prix of Vichy off to the perfect start with a comfortable Moto 1 victory in the Freestyle category on Saturday evening.

The Italian impressed the judges with his varied display of on-water acrobatics that oozed style and variety and he finished ahead of fellow countryman Massimo Accumolo and Portugal’s Paulo Nuñes in the opening Moto.

The second Freestyle Moto rounds off the Vichy action on Sunday afternoon.
